Technical assistance for the implementation of an Observatory System for Vocational Training, Teaching and employment The four main objectives of this project, aiming at supporting the effort of reform started by the Algerian Government on professional training and teaching level are: - to meet the needs for individuals and companies through a better matching between the training supply and the social and economic demand
- to increase the competitiveness of the companies in the perspective of the creation of the euro free exchange Mediterranean area;
- to better adapt the professional training system to the market economy
- to find better opportunities for the population to integrate and recycle in the job market
At the end of the project, the Observatory System for Vocational Training, Teaching and Employment is able to fulfil three essential functions (specific objectives): - To build up an effective information system on professional training and employment on national and regional level (economic area);
- To provide a decision-making aid tool by contributing to the definition, the evaluation and the improvement of the measures of employment policy, and by supporting the social dialogue between stakeholders;
- To be used as instrument for the development policy of professional training by identifying training needs in comparison with the evolution of trades and skills.
